Smart CO₂ Regeneration with Minimal Waste

How it works

In DAC systems, CO₂ from the air is absorbed into an alkaline solvent, forming carbonate (CO₃²⁻). REDstack’s EDBM cross-flow stacks use internally generated acid to convert this carbonate back into pure CO₂ gas, which can then be harvested. The remaining alkaline solution is fully regenerated and reused—creating a closed, low-waste cycle.

This eliminates the need for constant chemical replenishment and allows for continuous operation with minimal environmental footprint.
